I had forgotten to mention; with parsnips, kale or Swiss Chard or collard greens, turnip leaves or beet root leaves perhaps, green beans ( they are French I believe )or Lima or Butter Beans or White Navy Beans possibly, perhaps could have a Historic USA significance, though I am uncertain --- considering the length of time, I have not lived in Manhattan or San Francisco or South Miami Beach -- the three cities I had lived in ( up until 1993), when I had decided to move to the Mediterranean.

    @ Historic Foodie,
Good Morning. Just read ur thread on Fish Muddle - a coincidence ... However, this Historic Basque Fishermens´ Tuna Stew, can be " played with " ingredient wise, to create a " Gringo " ( American ) Muddle ... Yes ?

I knew you would like this one. It is heaven to the palate on a chilly day ... You may like to try it with thick slabs of Atlantic Fresh Salmon ...

Let me know, how it turns out. So great to see Dan Gone Fishing on D.C. He is such a gentleman and cool dude.

    Catch up later,
