It is cold here but at least no snow..I don't think I could handle that. I'm cold at 75 when every one else is in short. :)

Hi LC!! I flit in and out but I have been around a fair bit this week. Sometimes I read a few posts but don't comment on them.

How have you been? I saw that you were in pain yesterday. I hope that isn't an ongoing thing and that it is resolved soon.

Just found out a little while ago that my neighbour and her family all have swine flu. As I don't have an immune system, I hope they keep their distance for a little while longer!!!

    Take care!

Thanks for the comment about my cake. You can see better pictures of it in my profile albums. I did it for our niece's wedding. It took Tony and I 54 hours between us to build the structure to make it stand (Tony), bake, fill, ice and fondant the cakes and make the flowers. It was a 3 hour set-up at the church. But everyone loved it and I had fun designing and making it.

Thank you veddy, veddy much for the reputation points. You are a woman of obvious good taste and a whole lotta class. So's I'm gonna have to give you my world famous pancake recipe - "Goodweed's World Famous Pancakes". Ingredients: 1 cup flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tbs. double-acting baking powder, 2 tbs. sugar. Whisk together dry. In seperate bowl, combine 1 large egg with 3 tbs. cooking oil. Whisk into smooth emulsion. Add 3/4 cup milk to the egg/oil mix. Whisk together. Add wet and dry ingrediants together and stir until just mixed. Batter should have small lumps in it. Cook over medium heat until bubbles form on top. Flip and cook for 2 minutes more. Serve hot.
