Heya mollyanne, nice to hear from you. It would be nice to see you posting once in a while.

Thanks for the reminder about Kayelle's birthday. I'll check if there is a thread for that. No, we don't know how she and her hubby are doing. I know the pandemic really got to her. I really hope they are doing well.

Mollyanne, I don't know when you posted your message but I just stumbled across it today. I am well as is Jo. I'm waiting to hear if we got a house that we put a bid on but other than being on pins and needles over that life is pretty much normal. Hope all is well with you.

What a really nice thing to say. I look to all of the people at DC for support. It must be rubbing off. Thanks for all the pictures, and telling me where to find them. Love & Hugs, Sally

That aside the food itself was actually also terrible-very greasy and grease with tomatoe and cream sauce just doesn't sit well, from what we made out though tapas is mostly ground up meat and herbs- lots of coriander - in tomatoe or chilli sauces with plenty of salad and nice breads with dipping oil (although there oil was revolting, i don't think it was even virgin let alone extra virgin or infused for dipping)

If i were you, i'd check out some of these and have a little practice run before the big day for your mum :)

Hello- well that tapas place we went to was terrible- because of a flat tyre and other mnor inconvinences we were an hour late, but we kept the head waitress fully up to date and explained what happened, none the less she was very moody with us and gave us terrible service asking us to hurry up and instead of a steady flow of the dishes -as it should be- just brought everything out all at once onto a table that was obviously designed for 5 bodies but we had 9 in our group without even really saying what anything was. As we hada the most expensive set menu and i had pre-booked and laid a deposit down being told that once we had finished we could have the table for the rest of the evening upon arriving we were told we had 1 hour maximum to eat and clear out. Not happy.
