I will be making Irish soda bread for a meeting of approximately 50 bikers, ages 7 through 70, and we do not have access to a microwave or an oven to reheat the bread. I am looking for a simple and cheap, yet creative way to serve the bread near our coffee stand. Someone suggested sliced apples with strawberry jam, and I was thinking Irish butter.
Additionally I realize the bread should probably be sliced beforehand but a lot of times my bread crumbles and falls apart when I slice it. Any suggestions to have the bread slice more evenly would be appreciated.
