I only have a micro mini food processor (will have to find my manual to determine how much it holds) and a blender that is not high powered. I want to make hummus which has one can of chickpeas. What size food processor would I have to buy to make this? Other than this recipe, there is nothing else I would be using the processor for. Thanks!

Before I upgraded a few years ago, I had a 4-cup food processor for over 20 years. I made hummus in it regularly. That should work fine for you. There are a lot of other things you can do with it. Take a look at the manual when you get one.

I haven't had a food processor for about a dozen years. Nothing against them; just never felt sufficient need to get another.

When the blender was upgraded a couple of years ago I kept it and the mini-processing bowl. Its capacity is only 2½ cups and has made hummus many times.
