There was only a 10% chance of rain, so Stirling was happy to grill. I had some Italian sausages and some smoked pork sausages that needed to be used, so he grilled those. We ate all but one Italian and one smoked sausage on hot dog buns. There was seedy mustard, chopped onion, and sauerkraut to go on those. There were also dill pickles, pickled jalapenos, and pickled onions, but we didn't use those. Stirling did have a dill pickle. I didn't have room. That was tasty. Oh yeah, I also heated some oven fries. I put them on a dehydrator grate (it's made for my toaster oven) and heated them in the toaster oven with convection. That worked well.

I had dinner all planned, and even one component prepped,
but DH made an executive decision
that we three would go out for Linner (late lunch/early dinner).
Fine by me

One of our favorite all time joints in town
has opened a second locale much closer to us
here in Cowboyville :)
but I wanted to give them time to shake out the kinks first ...

We're steppin' up in the country!

I ordered a dish that all of my Gal Pals order at this joint,
but I've never tried.
Chicken Cutlet with Peas & Asparagus and a lovely Parmesan Cheese Sauce,
served with Angel Hair Pasta (done perfectly btw);
DH had a 10" Cheese Pizza, small Salad and Garlic Knots for the table.
Do you see any patterns here?

Mom requested the Chicken Parm, again served with that
perfectly cooked Angel Hair Pasta.
Mom said the Italian joint that we went to the
other day had better Chix Parm :LOL::cool:

*belch*

We're all pretty stuffed.

We have take-out dessert of Limoncello Cream Cake
and Cannoli for later ;)

No fish here! We had Summer Bolognese. Supposed to use rigatoni, but I wanted a different texture, so I used large elbow mac. I think I should have used less..but it was yummy & DH gave me a look and a sincere thanks for dinner. He was feeling a bit off (doing too many outside chores, I say). Anyway, had a chopped Ceasar's Salad and some garlic toast done in the Air Fryer.
