Roast Beef & Cheddar Roll-Ups, Mashed Idaho with Brown Gravy, Baby Lima's & Carrots...

Finally had enough spoons to get some food on the table without ordering from a resto. I baked some store bought breaded haddock. I heated some oven fries using convection in my toaster oven. I pulled out the leftover coleslaw from the Lebanese food delivery on Saturday.

That was all the spoons I had available. It was good though. The convection really makes those oven fries crisp up nicely and I don't have to flip them over. I used the grate for the dehydrator function for this toaster oven.

We both had seconds. :pig:

Update:

I added Shrimp to the mix for me and Mom this time around, very tasty!

As we all were finishing up our bowls, I asked Mom,
"When was the last time that you had Cold Somen Salad?"

NEVER! That was delicious!
I find that hard to believe, given that Mom lived in Hawaii
for 54 years! I had it on a regular basis for lunch. There
was a place two buildings over from where I work in downtown
Honolulu and they had small clear plastic take out containers
with the dressing on the side, it was cheap too. I want to
say it was less than $5, because that was my limit if I
bought my lunch, which I rarely did.

We went over the pass to the other island comprising Fort Myers Beach to get fresh shrimp right off the boats. Himself cleaned a pound of gulf shrimp while I made salad and grits. I sauteed the shrimp quickly with Tony Chachere's seasoning and butter.

I made Chiang Mai Curry Noodles without the crispy noodles on top. I toned it down using panaeng instead of red curry paste, as DH is needing things cooler these days. It was wonderful! One of my very favorite dishes in the whole world!
