Loaded Mashed Potato Casserole

5 1/2 cups mashed potatoes
1/2 cup milk
1 (8 oz.) pkg. regular or low fat cream cheese
depending on your preference
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons parsley flakes
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crisply cooked crumbled bacon (about 12
slices)

Place all ingredients, except last two, in a large
bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed
until potatoes are fiarly smooth and creamy. Spoon
mixture into a lightly greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with
cheese and bacon. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven
for 30 minutes or until heated through.

Makes 12 (3/4) cup servings
 
YUM!!! This might be a good thing to make to go along with the other July 4th stuff we're having...thanks for the recipe!!!
