What do you cook when time and $ are short?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that enjoys cooking.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Sometimes when I don't have much time or money (which is most of the time), I brown some ground beef, dump a can of mushroom soup and a can of mushrooms into it, heat through, and serve over potatoes. Sometimes I add sour cream and serve it over noodles.

  • Beef rice-a-roni mixed with cooked ground beef
  • Hot dogs or chili dogs
  • Refried bean and cheese burritos
  • Like piccolina: rice, sesame oil or soy sauce, green onions, and toasted sesame seeds
  • peanut butter and jelly sandwich
  • pasta with pre-made pesto, pine nuts, and parmesan cheese
  • hamburger gravy over instant mashed potatoes
 
PBJs always come to my rescue. Oh, you said "cook", didn't you?

Good ole Bisquick for some pancakes, waffles, or impossible cheeseburger pie.
