This recipe comes from a friend who makes 8-10 lbs of fudge every Christmas to give his customers.
You just dump all this stuff in a bowl, and nuke it. You'll think there's no way this can be any good, but it's the best fudge I've eaten.

Danny's Microwave Fudge

1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk (I used evaporated)
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans, opt

Blend sugar and cocoa in a bowl. Top with sliced up butter. Pour milk over butter. Do not stir. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir well. Add vanilla and nuts, and stir until blended. Pour in butter 8x8 pan and refrigerate until set.

Wait until you taste it...you won't believe it. By the way, I didn't refrigerate mine, just put it in a cool spot, and it set up fine.

I'm anxious to taste it. I made a derby pie today and my grandson said "why don't you make one without the nuts, but put chocolate chips and peanut butter in it?". So I did. It looks good, but we aren't tasting til Christmas Dinner. I will taste the fudge when I get it made, though.
