Squash and Apple bake

From a Friend... I haven't tried it but it sounds good.


4 cups squash, seeded, peeled and cut into 2" pcs
2 med granny smith apples, peeled and diced into 2" pcs
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon


Melt butter and mix with brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour over squash and apples. Bake at 350 for about 1 hr. I had it in for about 40 minutes and the meat was done, so ended up tossing it in the microwave for 5 minutes and it finished cooking it fine.
