I bought this thing today because I want to find out what it is. And now I wish I had a camera, but I don't so here goes,
It's 18-8 SS, it has a relatively long handle like a long handled measuring spoon, at the end is a basket, about 1-1/2" in diameter and 1-1/2" deep. The basket looks a little like those gadgets that you could get to wash a baseball hat in a dishwasher.
When I first saw i thought that it might be use to scoop a tea bag out of tea, or maybe a bouquet garnee(?) the little cheese cloth bag with herbs that you put in a stock.
But does anyone know what it is?
