Think Iam fixing - beefy/mushroom - n - noodles and crusty bread . Derby pie for dessert.

I am not sure. I have leftover ham from Christmas that I should do something with. But I also have this craving for Mexican food. So, I might just have to make tacos for dinner. I also have the ingredients to make chicken fajitas. That is what I am going to have chicken fajitas, rice, and refried beans. Yum!!

YUP, it`s Turkey soup! (as if that wasn`t in anyway predictable).

speaking of which, I`de better get a move on cooking it, else the serving time will Certainly be unpredictable! :)

haven't posted in a long time
been really busy at work and with the kids. things
are slowing down a bit. busy season for me is mid july
until week before x-mas.

so whats for diner tonight, not sure yet, probably
left overs. my hubby is home with the kids he
said we would take care of it.:rolleyes: hope it is good.

grilled fish sounds good to me. i am sure that won't
be on the menu tonight he hates going to the store
and we do not have any.

I am going to make a ham steak I had in the freezer - unsure about what glaze to use though.

I am also making red wine risotto - started it last night, will reheat it with the remaining broth at dinner time.

Boneless, skinless grilled chicken breast...
Steamed cabbage with Turnip roots...( I know kinda unusual)
Purple hull peas..with boiled okra...
maybe a little sweet potato...

We'll have the leftovers from a minestrone soup I made yesterday, only tonight I'll add some Italian sausage to it and make some crusty garlic for dipping.

We had fried rice Indian-style with chilli chayote as a vegetable dish.

Here we go...reinventing the leftovers

Pork=sweet and sour pork with crunchy veggies from crudite
fennel, cuke and tomato salad
crab=crabbie with cheese and scallions on english muffins
pepperoni from cheese platter=broiled until crispy
lasagna=stays in orignal form!

dessert=leftover ricotta pie and cookies

results=empty fridge!

I still have leftovers from Sandy's Christmas Party so I will have plenty to eat.
