My name is Roxanne, I'm 20 years old and I live on the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean. I love to bake but I am slowly branching out and trying different recipes and types of cooking.

Welcome to the site! Many...many years ago....okay probably 25-27....I had a penpal from Trinidad. I still have 2 shirts he sent me with Trinidad logo on them (I never wore them as they were too special). His name was Latchminerine Pakoo....I still think of him now and then. I don't know why we ever lost touch. Anyway....welcome to our lil corner of the world.

Just explore a little every day. You will be amazed at how helpful all the other DC'ers are when you get stuck on something. Just ask and someone's right there! It's wonderful.

Welcome Roxanne. I was taught to make curry chicken by a man I used to date from Trinidad. He taught me well. If I don't make my own curry seasoning, I use Turban, which I am sure you are familiar with. Again, welcome.
