I decdided to make boeuf bourguinion tonight, but decided to use some port I had (decent quality) instead of red wine. It is delicous (still on the back burner) so far. I am always loath to call something by a name that isn't at least remotely correct. So how do you say "beef" in Portuguese? Or should I stick to the British side of the port thing? I'm just having fun, but I will fix this again (yummy), but am deciding what to call it besides boeuf bourguinon made with port instead of burgundy. Any ideas outthere?

I think you should leave the word Bourguignon out of it all together. Using port in place of burgundy makes it different dish.

How about "stew de carne com vinho portuário"
