For me, it would probably be alligator that I had in New Orleans, and yes, it was a bit like chicken, but it was also mixed in with some rice and veggies, so the flavor wasn't that pronounced.
I've had quail before, too. I didn't care for it too much...mostly skin and bones, very little meat. Tasted like a cross between chicken and duck.
Tried venison a few different ways; steaks, sausage, and jerky. All were very good. Had bison a couple of times, once as a meatloaf and once as a burger.
So, what are some of your unusual food experiences ??????
