I love astronomy. I've seen 1 meteor shower my entire life. It was when I was in the Army and was at a field excercise in the middle of nowhere. I think it was the Persieds. It was great. Where we were, if you looked hard enough and were lucky, you could see satellites. It was the cooest thing. I used to volunteer for guard duty at night so I could be out there.

I read this this morning and didn't see anything. it wasn't the clearest, but I could see other bright stars (or planets).
I've only seen a few shooting stars in my life. That would have been cool

It was really clear here last night. I went out a few times between 2:00 and 6:00, then finally went to bed. I didn't see any. :( The stars were sure pretty though. I would probably have stayed out longer, but it was 18 degrees F. I saw a meteor shower once, about 20 or more years ago in California. It was pretty neat, so I was really hoping to see another.
