I have a Hard Anodized frying pan which is a Member's Mark brand from Sam's club. I have had them for about 2 years. This is the only pan out of the set I have trouble with sticking. It didn't do this until recently. I know my husband forgot about the pan and left it on the burner and it needed some heavy duty cleaning after that. I got it clean but I am wondering if I need to do something to get it seasoned. I need some help. Is the pan ruined.

Hard anodized pans do not need to be seasoned - ever!

I'm not sure what happened unless there is now some uneven heating going on.

You can either heat the pan, add cold oil, or just heat the oil in the pan. Wait until the protein is totally cooked on one side - it will unstick itself when ready to be turned.

Let's go back one step - hard anodized can be plain or coated with a nonstick coating. The Member's Mark cookware comes both ways. Which do you have?
