I so forgot to wear green. I told everyone I was wearing green underwear so I wouldn't get pinched. 
Had a great day so far. My shamrock plant is blooming like crazy. Our corned beef is almost done, the soda bread IS done and I'm wearing my shamrock necklace a dear, dear friend gave me in 1967. I called her this afternoon, as I always do on St. Pat's Day, to thank her and let her know I was thinking of her.
Pretty soon it will be time for yummy corned beef, mashed taters, soda bread, and Killian's Red. There's no downside this scenario.
