CRUNCHY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

1/2 cup(s) SUGAR
3/4 cup(s) BROWN SUGAR
1/2 cup(s) BUTTER; Melted.
1 EGG
1 cup(s) FLOUR
1 teaspoon(s) BAKING POWDER
3/4 teaspoon(s) BAKING SODA
1/2 teaspoon(s) SALT
1 cup(s) CORN FLAKES; Cereal.
3 tablespoon(s) COCONUT
3/4 cup(s) CHOCOLATE CHIPS
1/2 cup(s) OATS; Quick Cooking.
1/2 cup(s) WALNUTS; Chopped.

In a mixing bowl; mix together both sugars and melted butter.
Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cornflakes, coconut, chocolate chips, oatmeal and walnuts and mix well.
Roll dough into 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls or use a cookie scoop.
Bake cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are golden brown.
Cool on wire racks.

Yields about 31/2 dozen cookies.
