Here is a proof box I built. It works pretty good, the only thing I may move the light (heat) on the top in the middle as now the bread is warmer in the back as in the front. The light is hooked up to a reostat so I can contol the temp. Also it has a 60 watt bulb. Winter will be the real test. And I may add some water for dampness. Sourdough starter on top shelf.

That should work very well. shows you hae givin quite a bit ot thought to this. Water all ways helps.. I used to get my dish washer good and warm and then slip my loaves in to proof. which worked just like the real thing. Keep on baking. Nothing like a good fresh loaf of home made bread.

Oh yea, I love to make bread. I stopped buying it last winter.

I share the dishwasher idea. I use it and I love it. I run a quick rinse and stop it in mid cycle, before it drains. I have a nylon bread board that just fits in the bottom shelf.

I too would like the recipie if you are willing to share.

Bread recipes

Some of my best bread recipes came from the King Arthur flour site. They have all been good. One recipe that I use for years I found there.
