I got this recipe off the internet years ago and have been making them in my dutch oven and thought I would try it in my pie iron. It turned out great. The peanut butter is optional.

PIE IRON TORTILLA S'MORES

FLOUR TORTILLAS; Room Temperature.
CHOCOLATE CHIPS
PEANUT BUTTER; Optional.
MINIATURE MARSHALLOWS
PAM COOKING SPRAY

Spray pie iron with Pam.
Place 1 room temperature flour tortilla in pie iron.
Top with chocolate chips, spoonful of peanut butter (optional) and mini marshmallows.
Fold the tortilla in half and fold in the edges to make a square packet.
Close pie iron and cook about 3 minutes on each side or until the tortilla is golden brown.

You really don't need an pie iron. I sometimes make them by rolling them up and wrapping them up in some heavy duty foil and toss them into some not to hot coals out camping turning them often. I have made them on top of the stove in a skillet, you just want to melt the chocolate then fold them and eat. Debbie
