Another weekend another fishing competition, this time in the Whitsundays so the boys are home late. They didn't have any luck in the comp. but they have sure made up for it with these fish, here's four of the ten fish they caught today, the two large ones are Spanish Mackerel but the smaller one in Bretts left hand is more important, it's a new Australian record for a Grey Mackerel caught on 6kg line. In Todds left hand is the hard luck story, that fish is also a Grey and would have been a world record had a Shark not attacked it as they were about to lift it in to the boat.

Attie, you must be very proud of your sons! Shark? That close to the boat? Sounds like a perilous job, fishing in your waters! They are not only good at fishing, strong and handsome, they are also brave...

better to have just the head of the fish than one less arm...yikes shark? too close for cmfort for me. If a shark was big enough to bit all but that head, i'd sure be getting out of there quick...
