Copper cookware - to polish or not to polish?

:) Of those that own copper cook ware who polishes on a regular basis and who has decided to let it go? I have chosen to not polish and let it age on its own no shiny copper for me. I just dont feel like the effort on a regular basis is for me after all it dos not change the cooking ability of the pot or pan anyway.
 
I only do it when I'm REALLY lacking anything else to do.... which is rare.
But it does look so pretty when I'm done.

I'd say 2x a year.
Oh boy, now you got me going to see if I need a project tonight.......

:) I say skip it and relax it's not worth it at least to me.;)
 
lol, you're right...
crocheting spiders and candycorn is much more important!!!!

:) I believe it's called patina not sure if thats the right term but why not let it age and look antique. Besides you could take a nice nap instead.:):)
 
my, word, our copper clad ware was polished daily with copper scrubby polish when i was a kiddo, & 'twas so pretty to me!!!
