There is a restaurant called SEAFOOD PARKERS GRILL in Downers Grove on highland avenue right by Yorktown Mall. I tried their Lobster Bisque, and i am dying to find out what they put in the soup. If there are any chicago folks please check it out, id greatly appreciate on how to to make their type of lobster bisque.:ROFLMAO::bounce:

Here is the restaurants information:

1000 31st St
Downers Grove, IL 60515-1214
(630) 960-5700

From what I can tell:

-The broth is more tomato based, has more oil (olive oil), less heavy cream, not thick or creamy (more watery)

-Strong lobster flavor in the broth

-Lobster meat is covered in some sort of mayo sauce.

-Use corn ravioli and braised leeks.

-The plate is covered in some sort of pomegranate sauce before they pour the broth.

I live in the Chicago area but have not tried the soup. BUT! now I HAVE to. I will report.

How can the lobster be covered in mayo if it's in soup?

Have you thought of writing to them and asking for the recipe?

Or writing to Bon Appetit to get them to ask for it?
