Hi everyone,

My strawberry milkshake (consisting of strawberries blended with milk) always comes out sour. When I add sugar it just tastes sweet but you can still taste the sourness at the same time.

Is there any way round this? Adding bananas changes the taste. I know you should only use ripe strawberries, but is there a special ingredient / method I can use so this doesn't happen again?

Thanks :)

Mascerate your strawberries in sugar first, would be my guess. I know it sweetens them for strawberry shortcake.

Try something different... soak your strawberry for 1 week with sugar in chiller (shake your strawberry a couple of time a day during that 1 week).... you can use they specially strawberry creation in jam or in your milk shake. You are sooo gonna love it.
