Apple Cake (for Kathleen)

Here's mine Kathleen and I'm including some links as well.

1/2 cup butter (marg)
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup applesauce
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup peeled, chopped or grated apple
1 cup walnuts



Cream butter and sugar, add egg and applesauce. Sift flour, salt, soda, baking powder and spices into butter mixture. Stir in apple and nuts and bake at 350 for about 25-30 minutes. 9x9 pan.
