This looks like a great place. I am from MI, born here, have lived in KS, as a child for a few years, also spent 15 winters, and one summer in the "Rio Grande Valley", Donna, of the great state of Texas, and last summer in Bakersfield,CA. My husband passed away there in July of last year, we traveled a lot in our 30 years together,he was of Spanish (Spain) and Mexican (Mexico) desent, so I learned from him how to cook like his mama did, never mastered the flour tortillia, but he loved my cooking, mostly though he loved me! very nice to be here, revsgirl
