I have a huge tied boneless sirloin roast 9.07 Lb.
Can I remove the ties. Cut it up into cubes to make beef stew with it?
Normally this wouldn't be an issue. I'd put it in my rotisserie and slice it up for deli sammiches. Everyone here has been nagging me to make stew. That's an awful lot of stew. I normally just use 3 Lb's and call it a day.
I don't know what else to do with this monster.

Thank you
Munky.

Since I live alone, I'd cut it into thirds. Two 3# roasts, and cut up the last third into stew meat, freezing half of it for another time.

Even a pound and a half of stew meat will make a big pot of stew once you add all your vegetables.

Clumsy me. Forgot to say that the roast was defrosted in the fridge.
I did cut it in half. Have the stew meat simmering now. The other half is in the fridge.

Don't I wish a 1 1/2 Lb's would do it around here. These guys can put it away. Looks like that roast will be seeing the rotisserie anyways.

Thanks for the help :)

Munky.
