Back in the 70's I use to make candy balls. I can't remember how I did the chocolate. I know I put paraffin wax in the chocolate. I'm not sure how much. Does anybody know?:unsure:

Double boil method for melting the chocolate.
I'd start out with 1/2 to1 teaspoon finely grated paraffin wax per package of chocolate.
Depending on how hard you want the coating to be, add just a little more.
I drip some of the chocolate on a piece of waxed paper.

This site recommends that you use Confectionery coating

Good luck..
