ISO Bacon Brand From Canada

Years ago, before the Mad Cow Disease scare, we got the most marvelous bacon, made in Canada, from Walmart here in the states. It was thick cut, lean, mapley, and just delicious. Sadly, with the MCD scare, they pulled it (even though pigs aren't cows, duh). It is not back bacon. Any ideas what the brand is? DH and I are going nuts trying to remember.

Some of the big Canadian brands are Schneider's, Maple Leaf, Spalding, Pillar's, Presidents Choice....

There is a Canadian food company called McCain, but I think they do mostly vegis and frozen pizza type stuff. I can't say I remember ever seeing bacon by McCain.
