My son-in-law loves ginger cookies. I made a pumpkin cheesecake one year with ginger cookie crust. Bit hit.

I use ginger snap to thicken my sauerbraten gravy and I like them plain. Just can't see them with chocolate.

Our local health food store sells yummy gobs of dark-chocolate covered ginger jellies......sooooo tasty!
I buy dark chocolate and ginger candies to give to monks and nuns, for their evening sojourns of all-night meditating. Ginger and dark chocolate are two of the only 'medicines' that these very strict monastics are allowed past the noon meal.
I must try adding chocolate to my ginger cookies! Thanks for the idea.

Yes Soma, ginger is quite cleansing not to mention other health benefits. Wow!!
