Re the Snap Dragon apple--

"SnapDragon is an offspring of Honeycrisp and an unnamed apple in Cornell's breeding program that is described as similar to Jonagold."

I gave my DxW a honeycrisp tree the year we divorced and each bought our own houses. As a housewarming gift. She gives me apples every fall. And a lot of guff in between, heheh. No, not so much. At the time, the honeycrisp was developed locally at the Univ of Mn agricultural research center. It was new on the mkt, and had/ has a really good flavor.

Honeycrisp is my favorite apple so I would surely try the Snap Dragon. I wonder if they will be available in our stores next season.

Yes we do get Fuji here and they are delicious!

Honeycrisp is one of my favorites to eat all by itself!
