I am tying to find a topic on this forum but with all the forums and sub forums this is difficult. If I type my name in the advanced search it takes me to a basic google search web site. with nothing to do with these forums

Don't use the Google search. Use the DC search. In the top third of the Forums page there is a blue bar with categories you can click on. One of them is "SEARCH" with a drop down menu. Select "ADVANCED SEARCH" and enter the parameters you know. Don't get too specific, you could eliminate too much.

If you choose to use Google search, you can limit your search to DC by selecting advanced search on Google enter DC's address where it asks for Domain.
