Seafood and pasta. A great combo.
We had shrimp with sugar snap peas, roasted red peppers, shallots and mushrooms in a white wine and butter sauce over pasgetti.

We had grilled bratwurst, corn and pineapple. DH had cole slaw with it and I had potato salad. Yummy!

I made one of Steve's favorite meals for his b-day...oven barbequed loin spare ribs with homemade sauce, southwest salad and garlic toast.
Sounds yummy. Wish Steve happy birthday from me.

We met long-time friends of ours for brunch today. Visited so long we were asked to leave - kindly. Himself and I have eaten there in the past, so we knew they didn't kick you out the door right at 2:00 PM. At 2:30, we left in fear of being asked to help clean.
We each ate half of what we ordered: I had a spinach/mushroom/cheddar omelet with 5" across "silver dollar" pancakes. Himself had a better version of a Grand Slam. We'll be eating leftovers all. week. long...

I was going to spit roast a pork butt marinated Cuban style, but ended up doing it as a pot roast in the oven. Karen works on Sunday, so I had to keep a hawk eye on this tiny terror!
