My darling DH surprised me with these just a few minutes ago.

He said they had whites but he was afraid to ask..... We found a local place that carries truffles and foie gras, as well as caviar and other assorted goodies. First time we have bought from them.

Time to grab some Arborio and/or Valencia for storage and later use, plus come up with some meal plans.

Surprise visitors can be a problem. We have extra room here and can put up a couple of them for you.

If I leave now, I can be there on time for dinner!

Was it Marky's?

Well, it will be tomorrow night. I had already started dinner (brined pork chops, which would be too salty if left overnight). For the first night, it will be a choice between freshly made pasta and truffles or a recipe I just found from the James Beard House of gnocchi and truffles, which sounds really good. (I'm kinda leaning toward that one.)

No, House of Caviar and Fine Foods in East Fort Lauderdale on 3rd Avenue.
