Oh I assumed that they were for the whole day! I need to be a little quicker I guess!

Yes, I've found them done in as little as 15 minutes.

I think they go by how many people get them, so many choose one and the deal closes. Like they have a limit of 100 or such for free.

I think we're on to something.

I really like this freebie program. With that said, I'm an Amazon junkie, I've gotten so many good deals on music from them too.

If it wasn't enough that I send them a bunch of my money, I found recently that I can spend my Chase Freedom points just like cash with Amazon after linking the accounts!

Huh. I have Chase Freedom points too, will have to look into this. Thanks Bakechef!

Thanks, CWS! Appreciate the effort, especially since I haven't figured out which link to copy and paste, yet.

If you get a DiningDownloads email, you click on the link to the book, it opens Amazon, you highlight the info in the URL text box, copy it, paste it into an open reply to this thread. If I want the book, I click "buy" now before I cut and paste it in this thread. Sometimes I forget to paste it and have to go back and copy it again (I've PM'd you about that problem:LOL:). If I've already downloaded the book, I just click and paste the URL in the reply to this thread.

I just go to the DD site which I get in my email, click the link to the book I want, and that brings me to the Amazon site. If I want the book I click "Buy with One Click", and there it is!

What a WONDERFUL thread!!!

And I have no problem to fill my Kindle, I have not one! I use Kindle for Mac/PC.

Thanks again for the thread
:) Thanks. I was posting for "specialty" interest cookbooks, but that got too tedious, so I asked the Mods if a sticky could be created--the Mods complied. Anyone who finds links to free e-book cookbooks is welcome to post--I don't "own" this thread--I just share what I find and hope others will share as well.

I download to my PC and then upload to my Kindle--otherwise, my Kindle would be FULL. When I got my Kindle, I thought "I'll never have 1400 books. That's ridiculous." WRONG. Bookbub is another one to which I sub. There are free cookbooks there every now and again.

Usually if you go into your amazon account, there is an option to upgrade to prime.
