Good morning,

A bit chilly out there today, but the sun is out for now ... rain is in our forecast.

Dinner tonight will be breaded chicken cutlets, white bean & arugula salad, and rice.

Barbara - I hope all went well yesterday.
msmofet - I hope you and your daughter are feeling better today.

Enjoy the day:chef:

I am making braised beef cheeks and polenta today.

I can barely walk today.I hit a new PR last night lifting with the team.I have really wanted 405lbs for a while and got 425 last night. It is pretty good for this old guy but not real spectacular.

It is leftover buffet night tonight! I put everything out and we each decide what we want, I nuke it and there is dinner!

And I went to school to learn this? :ermm::LOL:

WoW! That seems pretty impressive to me. Better than I could hope to do.

We are going to finish up the left overs tonight. I'll make some herbed spaghetti squash and green salads to go with.

I just got my $25 restaurants.com card (free from MyPoints), so we may take advantage of James's being home early this week and go to Ajimi's for Japanese tonight.

I'm brown bagging it tonight, so whatever finger food I find in the fridge. I know there is some baked chicken in there and some salad, maybe some roasted potatoes, too.

This weekend I'm going nuts with baked delicata squash.

Since it's just me I'm fixing a fried baloney sandwich with bacon, mayo, cheese, and lettuce on toasted white bread. Depending on how hungry I am I might warm up some tater tots to go with it. Wish I had some cole slaw.

steak and probably left over soup from yesterday.

Cooked a nice ribeye, but ended up putting a little side dish together. It might sound small, but I'm proud when I make things up as I go along. I'm usually skeptical about venturing out on my own without some kind of recipe to guide me.

Sliced a few small potatoes into very very skinny pieces. cooked in olive oil, threw some cooked peas in with some butter, some pre made bacon cut up into small pieces, some lime juice, oregeno, salt, pepper and a small amount of chives. Mixed it all and served it with the steak.

It's still hard for me to get things from the cabnits. but we are haveing spagetti and sausage for DH and for me spagetthi with meat sauce garlic bread and green salad
No dessert I don't have it yet.

Good evening everyone. My girls temp went up a bit last night. It was down to normal this morning but I keep her home for 24 hours after fever breaks. If everyone would do that maybe my girl wouldn't get sick so often!! I feel kinda BLAH so I have been drinking rosehip & hibiscus tea which is loaded with vitamin C.

Boneless pork loin chops breaded Italian style and fried served with steamed fresh green beans, mushrooms & slivered almonds tossed with butter, sea salt, ground peppercorns & lemon juice, Red and Yukon potatoes mashed with butter & sour cream and pork gravy.
