    What's cooking 11/8/10?

    The tandoori chicken was such a success (this time i didn't incinerate it) that any leftover meat and its carcass be turned in broth as a base to make muligatawny soup. Perfect for tomorrow's stormy weather.

    Haggis and Mash

    I bought a haggis from a specialist butcher and liked it very much. However, now I know its ingredients including lungs, naturally I feel a bit squeamish. Similarly, black pudding, but I won't go there.

    Need ideas/suggestions for lid storage

    I don't know what country you live in, but if it's Europe, IKEA sell an ingenious wall storage device that holds even the most awkward shaped pot and pan lids. And it's not expensive.
