    I've seen Bananas Foster prepared on TV. It looks and sounds delicious. I copied the original Brennan's recipe from their website and hope to make it someday. SO doesn't appear to be interested and one of my daughters doesn't care for bananas so I guess I'll have to make it for a party of one.

    Pecan pie is one of my top pies. I make one every Thanksgiving and I get to eat 7 of the with pieces - all with vanilla ice cream.

    Both my Indian neighbor and I have used whole wheat flour to make roti. She makes it regularly and FAST. It's fascinating to watch her work. Maybe you need a different recipe.

    The garlic stuffed olives never appealed to me. We eat fewer hot foods lately as our tolerance had lessened.

    Sometimes. Some dishes I make regularly so they don't take me back so much. But when I make some of the "special" recipes I do think of her more.

    No. I've tried some of their stuff - Kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, pepperoncini slices.

    Kind of a hodge podge meal tonight. Take-out pork lo mien, and pan fried Asian market frozen pork dumplings and my homemade dipping sauce. I won't need salt or carbs for a month.

    A mini charcuterie plate; cheese, salami, stuffed green olives, Kalamata olives and pita.

    I had a sandwich with leftover pork tenderloin. SO had a turkey club. We both had salads.

    What is your favorite tv dinners

    Asian markets in our area often have a freezer section with a variety of frozen dumplings, siu mai, peking ravioli. Our experience with those has been pretty good.

    I haven't had a TV dinner in around 65 years. I never liked them. My mom was a great cook. I don't know what prompted her to buy TV dinners in the first place. Probably her kids pestering her for them.
