I am looking for a fantastic carne asada recipe........

Well, the thing is there are no recipes for carne asada, specifically, altogether. Maybe it is just my take of things, but I see it like asking for a good grilled chicken recipe. it's grilled, so all you need is the grill, the bird and whatever else you like on it. But if you're looking for...

    Buñuelos de Manzanilla (camomile dumplings)

Indeed, manzanilla or manzanillo is a yellow, round little fruit, from which camomile tea (té de manzanilla) is produced. Of course, when it is dry, for tea, it looks kind of like anise. I don't know if the herbal looking product is produced of the leaf or the fruit itself but, If you wish to...

    Camomile/manzanilla in Mexican cuisine

Manzanilla en almibar, o jalea de manzanilla... You know, camomile dessert, either cooked camomile in it's own juices, with sugar, to make a syrup, or camomile marmalade. Or maybe a sweet and sour sauce for chicken, or duck. Or camomile syrup for buñuelos (dumplings) or some other dessert...

    Icing?

I'm one of those people who feels that the best part of any cake is the icing, for sure. But I'm picky... I HATE whipped cream icing (i.e. coolwhip = YUK  !!), I HATE pudding toppings and I HA-HA-HATE gelatine and fruit toppings (unless it is culis or fruit jam -WITHOUT any jelly bits- ...

Milk with Sugar (dulce de leche?)

Oooh, Oooh! one of my favourite topics!!! I LOVE dulce de leche! OK, the basics: Dulce de leche is a typical sweet in Latin American countries, specially Argentina, I think they are the dulce de leche masters. Dulce de leche is made out of milk with TONS of white sugar, basically. It is like...

    Hi Everybody! I'm new!

I sure am a manga and anime follower, ChefWhite. But I like them in Japanese (although I understand only the swearing and insulting, mostly) and subbed to English. I go back to the very beginning of anime, with Astro Boy and Mazinger-Z, but I really like the up to date, "in style" ones, like...

    Flour Tortillas

kneading the dough should not affect the taste, at all. the authentic Tortillas are shaped by padding them with both hands, as if you were clapping, with the dough in the middle. Not easy to do, that is why, most of tortillas now days are shaped with a tortilla machine or rolled by oneself...

    Flour Tortillas

Forgot to mention, if you decide to go with the wheat flour tortillas, use chicken broth instead of water. That will add some flavour to them. Still, if you make them with corn flour and chicken broth.... YUMMY! may I come over for dinner?
