A guy I work with had this grill he was wanting to sale it since he just found a newer Weber Performer for 50 dollars at a garage sale. He wanted 20 dollars because the table was broken and that's all it needs. I figure for a 20 dollar Weber I can take and either make or buy a new table for it. I am thinking of using some angle iron and expanded mettle to make the table. In the mean time I might just use some JB weld to hold it in place.

dude... even easier yet... go to some place that does custom kitchen cabinets and ask if they have a scrap piece of 1/2" solid surface countertop (like Corian, or Hi-max) that they could cut for you ( or tell you the best way to cut it and sand/finish it)
