This is the cheesecake I made, to take to Thanksgiving today. Just a simple NY cheesecake, with a small amount of sugar, compared to other desserts (the reason I made it, for my one friend, that has to watch her sugar intake). We had a pumpkin pie and a pecan pie, and about a cup and a half of heavy cream, whipped with a little sugar and vanilla, to top all the desserts with. I left the remainder of the cheesecake with her, and told her it freezes well, so she can save it for later treats.
Ugly, but oooohhh so delicious NY cheesecake. by pepperhead212, on Flickr

I made a berry cobbler. Here's a piece topped with vanilla bean ice cream.

It looks like a basque cheesecake, which is excellent. I made them in culinary school.

I saw this on Face Book a whiles back and just now got around to it.
I had one sheet of Puff Pastry and a large Honey Crisp Apple that needed to be used up ...

I'm saving my share for dessert later this evening along with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream!
That little piece in the lower left of the sheet pan... that was the sample bit.
DH needed another "FULL ONE PLEASE" and declared them delicious, "please make this again, please?"
