It looks like a basque cheesecake, which is excellent. I made them in culinary school.This is the cheesecake I made, to take to Thanksgiving today. Just a simple NY cheesecake, with a small amount of sugar, compared to other desserts (the reason I made it, for my one friend, that has to watch her sugar intake). We had a pumpkin pie and a pecan pie, and about a cup and a half of heavy cream, whipped with a little sugar and vanilla, to top all the desserts with. I left the remainder of the cheesecake with her, and told her it freezes well, so she can save it for later treats.

Thanks! I thought I'd just use my oatmeal raisin cookie recipe and sub cranberries for the raisins.
My sister uses the recipe on the Quaker Oats carton. She puts golden raisins. So good!I use the Vanishing Oatmeal Cookies recipe from the Quaker Oats carton. I'll compare the two.
