What did you think of it? Are you sure there are peanuts in that chili crisp? Those look like the fermented soy beans listed on the ingredients in the LGM that I get. They are quite crunchy.

The chili crisp was more flavorful when cooked with the rice the other night. The eggs weren't bad, but I was wondering if there wasn't a different brand that would have been better.

No, I'm not positive those are peanuts. I didn't read the ingredients. I went by taste, texture and size.

Yes, many popular chili crisps, like the famous Lao Gan Ma brand, contain peanuts or peanut oil, adding a nutty flavor and crunch, but it depends on the specific brand and recipe, so always check the ingredients list for allergens like peanuts, soy, or sesame, as they are common additions or cross-contaminants.

I'll look at my jar when I go out to the kitchen and report back.

Lao Gan Ma has a lot of different varieties of chili crisp. Some have peanut; some don't.

Yes, I know.
That's why I was wondering if there wasn't a different one that might have been better with eggs. Maybe the fermented soy bean you were asking about.

The one I bought says peanut on it. Which is good, because that is exactly what they tasted like.

To tell the truth, I left the nuts on my plate when eating the eggs. I did not feel like a nut.
They went pretty well with the rice though.

All on my griddle, did some bacon, mushrooms, couple of eggs and some of the caramelized onions done the other day. A homemade bun, just white bread.

I have a couple of silicon rings for the eggs on the griddle, I also cover them with a foil I kept from some pot pies, LOL helps to steam the tops.

I have silicone egg rings. The eggs stick to the rings every time, no matter what I do to lube them up. Not a big deal, but a little bit annoying.

No, mine release just fine. I put a small blob of butter in there. Once I see the whites start to set I give them a wiggle every once in a while. Seems to work for me.

All the talk about grilled cheese lately! So had a grilled cheese with old cheddar, some slices of tomato rescued before the seeds grew tooo much and a couple of baby dills.

I actually sort of prefer American cheese in my grilled sandwiches but alas didn't have. The Aged Cheddar works too, once in a while.

I had a salami sandwich with cream cheese, Swiss cheese and mayo. On white bread.
I hadn't had one of those in a while, and I had some salami I wanted to finish off and an opened cream cheese I didn't want to forget about.

I think I might have this figured out now.

Really nice looking bagels, Frank I've yet to make them.

My English muffins were a flop so until I get them, not even going to try.

Breakfast 2 eggs and then last nights l/o gravy of mushrooms, shallots and spinach dumped into them. Very tasty, almost didn't and now glad I did.

I took the last of the ramen bowl I had the other night and mixed an egg into it. Heated of course.

I cooked a pork shoulder in the oven overnight:

I had brought home some queso and chips from the other night dining out, so I had pulled pork nachos for brunch:

I ate my leftover baked potato from dinner last night with lots of butter and sour cream. It was good!

McDonald's #9 with a diet Coke while driving across I90 today.
I love those steak and egg bagels. Probably get 2-3 a year.
I did not love all the state troopers out after I got back on 90. Four cars in the next six miles or so. And a bunch of lights surrounding a semi on an exit ramp. He must have been doing or hauling something they did not like....
The odd thing was, there was a truck just like his, all white, white trailer, no writing, on the other ramp with the driver on the phone.
