McDonald's #9 with a diet Coke while driving across I90 today.
I love those steak and egg bagels. Probably get 2-3 a year.
I did not love all the state troopers out after I got back on 90. Four cars in the next six miles or so. And a bunch of lights surrounding a semi on an exit ramp. He must have been doing or hauling something they did not like....
The odd thing was, there was a truck just like his, all white, white trailer, no writing, on the other ramp with the driver on the phone.

I used to start my road trips with a McD's Sausage and Egg McMuffin and coffee.

What's the speed limit there on Interstates? They range from 65mph to 85mph in Texas, with most being 75mph.

90 is typically 65, but often 55 with all the construction and by cities.
79 goes from 55 right up to 70, even by Erie. That throws a lot of people off who are afraid to push 65.

Someone told me today that NY is on a big money push and even 1mph above the speed limit will get you pulled over.
I was going about 63 in a 55 when I went by all those troopers. steering with my knee and eating my bagel :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I noticed NJ had really low speed limits when I was up there a few years ago. Seems Northeast states are still in the 1970s for highway speeds.

Yeah, I guess when the studies showed it reduced accidents as well as saved gas consumption, it wasn't a priority to move them back up.

Highest I've seen in NJ is 65mph.

I dusted off some buffet plates and g-grandma's silverplate for a Valentine's Day brunch with friends. Frank made bagels. We offered lots of items to go with them. Not seen here are mimosas, pickles, and chocolate-coated strawberries.

The place settings were vintage milk glass , some sterling serving pieces, and assorted glasses and serving plates.

For years mr bliss has been having blueberries or raisins with oatmeal, now he's switched to precooked 9 grain flakes with fruit, flax/chia/wheat germ honey. We were both having green spinach smoothies alternated with red beet smoothies. Now he is continuing the smoothies and I'm not. I'm eating more fresh fruit mostly apples and mandarins plus I often eat my greens, either spinach, or kale, or steamed broccoli and stems.
We haven't had pancakes for a while (and we did get some maple syrup from the Honeybee expo). That's next, maybe tomorrow.

Sausage gravy and biscuits. I always like to have a half biscuit with butter too.

The half biscuit with butter sounds like something I would do. If I have peanut butter on toast, I almost always have a portion of the toast with only butter, no peanut butter. Good bread deserves to be eaten with good butter.
