I honestly don’t get the fuss over the pronunciation or spelling of words.
Different strokes for different folks.

Hey maybe we should start talking about recipe authenticity that’s always a corker 😂

Yeah, we don't have a lot of things here in the US we can claim as our own, most everything we cook and eat was originated elsewhere. Yeah there are some who will argue that (like the hamburger was supposedly invented by the Menches brothers in Ohio, some say the World fair, others say nuh uh, Germany did it first...)

Maybe shrimp and grits was invented here though. I don't really care who invented what as long as it tastes good!

too late! 🤣 been there, done that! 🤣 and will probably happen all over again! 🤣
Is it a topic that ever burns out though?
People go on about the right way to do something endlessly even though food and language is constantly shared and evolving across the world.
I note as I mistyped autocorrect dropped toxic “Is it a toxic” in the place of topic, I think autocorrect got it right for once, that can be a toxic topic can’t it 😂

Had a leftover monkfish cheek from a previous meal...
lettuce, bacon, tzatziki and sriracha, in a tortilla wrap.

I made a big overstuffed 4 egg omelet for DH and I to share (he ate 2/3s of it). It had chopped ham, sautéed onion, red bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach, mustard greens, goat cheese, cheddar, and American cheese.

I had a smash burger and some leftover succotash and chili crisp rice from the other night. Pretty filling.

Repeat of yesterday but I remembered to take a pick. The omelet broke a little when I was folding it over but still tasted great!
