Lol, and all for a measly $49. Looks well worth it. Can i ask where the vanilla comes into it?

The vanilla beans are split and used with the melted butter to "poach" the lobster. The lobster is first blanched in a court boullion, then it is de-shelled and finished in the butter-vanilla bean mixture.
