We had large garden salads and small Naan pizzas. They both had prociutto; Himself's had pepperoni, onion, and mushrooms, while mine had spinach, mushrooms, yellow pepper, black olives, and tomatoes. IMG_20190723_201613802.jpgIMG_20190723_203657282.jpg

It was finally cool enough to use the oven. I made Ba'corn. It wasn't quite as good as I had hoped, but it was good. I will definitely make this again, but with my personal tweaks, like cooking the bacon more.

We hit the beach today to get out of this heat, and had a great late lunch of perfectly cooked Ahi tuna sandwiches and really good onion rings.
Dinner will be snacks later if we get hungry.

Dinner was stove top grilled strip steak with salad.

I'm in San Jose for the night. Looks like Five Guys burgers are the best I can do. Every country in Asia, including India, is covered with restaurant options near my hotel. But, with a handful of exceptions, I don't like Asian food.

BTW, this area has to hold the record for most Teslas per square mile. They're everywhere.

This was really good. I made a glaze of brown sugar, cider vinegar and grainy mustard for salmon and roasted it in the toaster oven. Served it with maque choux, orzo and an experiment - a few pieces of okra from the garden, pan-seared in olive oil and sprinkled with Penzeys 4/S Seasoned Salt and cayenne pepper. Very delicious.
