Hi all

I am from Scotland and work for a butcher, Donald Russell, who supply the queen! How cool is that. We are from aberdeen and have Aberdeen Angus' grazing nearby!

We have a blog that I thought you may be interested in, called Gourmet Butcher. I am really trying to get into blogging and we have recentlly started blogging from our butchery and would love to hear your suggestions of where i should be visiting.

Look forward to being part of the community...I love the American style cooking and would love to mix the ideas with our Scottish produce and share our ideas!

Hopefully speak to you all soon :)

Gary

Welcome!! Haggis, anyone?? I'm looking forward to reading your blog... I could probably google it and find it, right?
found it... interesting, but commercial.

Hello, and please send me a case of Stag's Breath liquor.
Seriously, can't get it here.
please.

Thanks for the welcome and the comments guys!

Yeah you can find the blog on google by searching for Gourmet Butcher :)

And what sort of liqueor is it? Whisky

Stag's Breath is made with honey and blended with whisky, so it is a bit lower in strength. Very smooth, very very tasty.
Haven't found a thing that compares over here.
Worth a try if you drink alcohol.

Welcome! I was lucky enough to travel to Scotland last year. Truly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, wonderful friendly people and amazing food too!
I wish I had picked up some Ginger Tam to bring home, no one sells it here.

Welcome

I visited Scotland years ago and loved it.

My maternal grandfather was born in Wishaw, Scotland.
