Like a lot of you, we cut the cord years ago and now use streaming services for network TV, movies etc. We happen to use Fubo for network TV and other stuff and have been having issues with connection over the past few days. Last night we couldn't watch it all night (from 6:00PM on). I tried a lot of different things but just got the Fubo screen with the spinning circle of doom.

Late that night (sometime after midnight after SO went to bed) I tried a different tack. I logged onto the Fubo website and started complaining. Soon an AI chat box named Alex appeared and I stated my problem in simple straight-forward terms. Alex asked me to try again. No success. Alex then suggested unplugging, waiting a minute then replugging and try again to open Fubo. I thought, "Is this the best technology can come up with, Unplug it and try again?!" Damned if it didn't work. I felt like a complete idiot. I thought systems were way too sophisticated for that to still work after all these years. Oh well, live and learn.

Another thing. SO has been shopping for a pair of red tights for Christmas. She ordered a pair from Amazon. When they were not sure when it would be delivered, she ordered another pair from Walmart. Well the Amazon tights came earlier in the week and the Walmart tights arrived today. Keep in mind she ordered the same size both times. I want to watch her trying to get into the smaller pair.

Maybe you could go his and hers on the tights with some nice Christmas sweaters and elf shoes.

:ROFLMAO:

Yeah, the old standby. Unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in. Sometimes it gets forgotten because things work so much better than they did when we were buying computers from Radio Shack with dial up. But it's still the first thing suggested when there's a problem.

I still do it. Especially for my phone.

My weird happening was last night. The remote for my TV hasn't been working ... maybe a year? I just set it aside and walk up & turn it on manually. The Chrome cast does the rest and even turns it off when I'm ready. Kept saying I would take it in and see if I could get another.
So last night, walk up to TV... nothing, hmmm, look around behind to see if anything came undone. Nope. Said - to heck with it - get a book. Saw the remote up on a shelf and said, why not, can't hurt. The TV came on....

go figure...
